We will continue testing gfxCardStatus version 2 and update you. That having been said, we are hopeful that version 2.0 may work for us, as there has been some positive feedback on the gfxCardStatus forums stating that this has worked for users trying to thwart the robust OS X BSOD superbug. Testing is currently ongoing however initial results are promising (although this was the case while using the initial 2.2.1 version). Unfortunately, we were not using gfxCardStatus before the problems started affecting our testing machine, however we have downgraded to version 2.0 of gfxCardStatus to see if this helps resolve the issue. The Macbook Pro 11,3 model's EFI is switching off the Intel GPU if you boot anything but Mac OS X. It has been made to be easily chainloaded by unmodified EFI bootloader like Grub, rEFInd etc. I killed it, and I could not get back in. Tiny EFI program for unlocking the Intel IGD on the Macbook Pro 11,3 for Linux and Windows. I had played for several hours, and all of a sudden it stopped working right. I've tried every wine graphics combo I can think of. (I looked for newer drivers, but have been unsuccessful so far) Colors are terrible. I have to force it to use Intel believe it or not.
